Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Valora platform, operated by Valora Digital LLC ("Valora", "we"). Valora is a digital products store: we sell, in our own name, digital products created by independent creators ("Creators") who license their content to us. By creating an account, buying or using Valora, you accept these Terms in full.
1. Who can use Valora
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. To publish products as a Creator, you must verify your identity and accept the Seller Agreement. You can buy products without creating a Creator account. We reserve the right to refuse or suspend accounts that do not meet these requirements.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. You must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information during signup and identity verification.
3. How the service works
When you buy a product, the sale contract is made with Valora. The card payment is charged by Valora, through Stripe, and the receipt and the card statement descriptor identify Valora. Valora delivers the product (access is available in your Library), provides support and handles refund requests under the Refund Policy. Creators provide the content and receive a share of the revenue under the Seller Agreement.
4. Prices and fees
Buyers pay the price shown at checkout, which is set by the Creator. From the amount of each completed sale, Valora keeps a 5% platform commission and bears the payment processing costs. There is no monthly fee. The detail of each sale is always available in the Creator's dashboard.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Valora to sell illegal products, content that infringes third-party rights, fraudulent or pyramid schemes, regulated financial products or services without the applicable license, or any content that violates Mozambican law or Stripe's terms. We reserve the right to remove products and suspend accounts that violate this clause, without prior notice in serious cases.
6. Intellectual property and license
Creators remain the owners of the content they provide and are responsible for ensuring they hold the necessary rights. By publishing a product, the Creator grants Valora a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, while the product is active, to advertise, sell, reproduce, store and deliver that content to buyers. The license continues for the purpose of delivering and supporting purchases already made. Buyers receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the product and may not resell or redistribute it.
7. Limitation of liability
Valora is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or damages resulting from service unavailability, third-party failures (including Stripe), or misuse of the platform by sellers or buyers.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account in case of violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or legal requirement. You may close your account at any time in Settings, subject to settlement of any pending balances.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform. Continued use of Valora after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mozambique. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Mozambique, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.
